You can find the ‘Withdraw’ button in your profile page. Simply choose how much you want to withdraw and we'll transfer it back to your bank account.
If you withdraw before 5:50pm on a weekday, your money will be in your bank account the same day; if not, it will be the next working day.
It's usually as simple as that, but there a couple of things which make it more complicated. If you've hit a snag whilst withdrawing, it may be one of the reasons below.
Are you verified?
You need to be verified (i.e. pass an identity check with our referencing agency, we need to do this for anti-money laundering purposes) to withdraw money directly back to your bank account. Once you're verified, you can withdraw as normal.
Limitations with debit-card withdrawals
If you have linked your debit card, but haven’t connected your bank account, the only way we can return your money is to refund your card.
As part of our anti money laundering obligations, we can’t send your money by bank transfer. A card refund takes 3 - 5 working days.
Once you connect Chip to your bank account, and we verify this is the same account your debit card is connected to, you’ll be able to withdraw back to your bank.
